Meet
Nadia Regis, WHNP-BC
Willow OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner Nadia Regis recognizes that there’s more to a person than what symptoms or conditions bring them to her office. She goes above and beyond the call of duty, taking the time to educate each patient even if some of their issues fall outside the scope of women’s health. She’s certainly qualified to do so.
Born and raised on the Caribbean island of Sint Maarten, Nadia moved to Denver in 2000 where she later obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University. She relocated to Dayton, Ohio to attend Wright State University, eventually graduating with a Master of Science in Anatomy.
When she finished her degree, Nadia had a change of heart. She began applying for nurse practitioner programs around the country, landing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Upon earning her Master of Science in Nursing, she got right to work at Prime OB/GYN in Smyrna, Tennessee, where she gained her first experience with IUD insertion, pap testing, and pregnancy.
In 2010 Nadia Regis moved to San Antonio, Texas, where she worked as a contractor on Randolph Air Force Base. The U.S. Air Force commissioned her in an official capacity shortly therafter. It was during her time stationed at Patrick Air Force Base on Satellite Beach, Florida.
Since returning to San Antonio and joining the Willow team in 2019, Nadia has expanded her repertoire to include ultrasonography and thyroid treatment. She also now specializes in non-invasive vaginal rejuvenation treatments like Votiva FormaV and FractoraV. Few nurse practitioners are capable of delivering as wide a range of treatments.
Nadia Regis takes pride in her ability to separate the patient from their reactions in the moment and give them a safe space to freely express their feelings. She’s a firm believer that medical professionals must first care for themselves in order to have the capacity to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
